The pilgrim’s passport
The credential accompanies those who walk the Way of Hasekura and the Japanese Martyrs: 107 km in 6 stages from Civitavecchia to the Quirinale, in the footsteps of the samurai Hasekura Tsunenaga. Along the route you have it stamped stage after stage, and in the end it becomes the story of your journey.
Numbered and personal
Each credential has a unique code (for example HSK-0042-2026) linked to your name. It is the proof that you walked the Way yourself: at the end of the route, with your name and code, you can request the official certificate by sending a photo of your stamped credential.
Two versions
Digital credential: a numbered PDF already filled in with your details, to download and print at home.
Credential by post: the printed version, sent to your address anywhere in Italy, ready to be stamped.

The Way of Hasekura and the Japanese Martyrs is an initiative of the association Variante Cimina della via Francigena ETS, which looks after its development and promotion.
